James Franco Developing Film Based On Chuck Palahniuk’s Novel, RANT – AMC Movie News
James Franco is developing a movie based on Chuck Palahniuk’s 2007 novel “Rant”. Both the author and Franco teased it on their twitter accounts. Set in the near future, the story centers on recounted memories of Buster “Rant” Casey, the leader of an urban demolition derby who “will die a spectacular highway death, after which his friends gather the testimony needed to build an oral history of his short, violent life.” Franco is eying the title role and Pamela Romanowsky is in line to write and direct the adaptation.
