I’m starting to see real parallels lately in the types of story Russell does and can see that he is starting to use some of Scorsese’s signature techniques. Look at American Hustle vs Goodfellas, The Fighter vs Raging Bull). I’m a big fan of both directors, but I’m just wondering if you see the connection too?
