All About That Constantine & A Ray Of Light

We spoke recently about Feral Sara and this week, it was all about Sara’s soul and John Constantine! The episode starts with Sara and her killing spree. She’s killing criminals and attacking women that look like Thea!? Hmmm…curious, or is it? Everyone is out looking for this “killer” and when Oliver finally learns of Sara’s resurrection and Laurel and Thea’s deception, he realizes there is only one thing he can do…Oliver puts in a call to an old pal, that owes him a favor and thus, enter stage left, Constantine, to the rescue!

We learn via flashbacks that Constantine and Oliver are old friends that met on Lian Yu where Constantine is saved by Oliver, or did he save himself? Regardless, they were useful to each other in a tight situation and formed a friendship.

So, here we are, present day, Star City,  in another tight situation and Oliver knows that Constantine’s mystical black magic, may help bring back Sara’s soul to her body. So, with that good old Constantine humor, some chain smoking and a bit of magic, Oliver, Laurel and Constantine enter the spirit realm, where a dark creature is in control of Sara’s soul and they have to somehow fight him off and save Sara. They fight. They win.

Meanwhile, in Star City, Diggle and Lance are forming an alliance, by working together to carry out one of Damien Dhark’s tasks—to infiltrate a government server building and infect the system with a virus. But, really, it’s about finding out what really happened to Diggle’s brother and how he died. Before the server can be wiped clean, we see a name, Andrew Diggle. Dhark is confronted and Dhark tells John that H.I.V.E killed Andy because he was a criminal and a competitor. I don’t think we’ve heard the last of this. It’s Damian Dhark, after all, you can’t really trust anything he says to be 100% true, if true at all!
