Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc were the guests for the season five opener on Filmnut. Biehn wrote, directed and starred in the psychological, grindhouse style thriller, The Victim. His girlfriend Jennifer Blanc (Party of Five & Dark Angel), starred and produced. Having starred in such films as The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Tombstone, The Rock, and more, it was a pleasure talking to Biehn.

We covered his journey into directing, which included directing his girlfriend in a sex scene with someone else! We talked about the strain of working on an indie budget with not nearly as much time as some of the big studio fare he is used to working on. One of the more challenging scenes Biehn got into was an intense fight scene that culminated with a very real chokehold placed on Biehn that nearly took him out. We had a clip of this that you can’t miss! We also talked about the craft of acting, working with Val Kilmer, and got to some viewer questions about The Terminator, Abyss, Tombstone, Avatar sequels, and a lot more.
